"The Heritage staff did a wonderful job of hosting our rehearsal dinner and wedding. Heritage has long been our favorite restaurant in Chicago, and one day while dining in, it began to feel like a natural choice to host our celebration, as it has a great ambiance, exceedingly friendly staff, and some of the best food/cocktails in the city - all important factors to us. Tiffany and Guy were wonderful, meeting with us multiple times throughout the planning process to design and revise the menu, discuss our vision for the day and the space, and coordinate with their contacts to make sure we had the staff and rentals we needed.
One of the things I appreciated the most was the flexibility and support provided around our wedding day. They worked with us to find the best times for us to drop off, set up, and take down of our decor – since we decided to forgo a planner – and helped direct/handle deliveries from vendors. On the big day, the staff made sure our guests were well taken care of and had everything they needed.
It was also an awesome experience being able to work with Chef Guy to design a menu fitting to our tastes, which gave our friends and family the opportunity to try new things. Everyone is still raving about how hospitable all the staff were and how delicious the food was on our wedding day, which is what we wanted it to be remembered for! We would highly recommend Heritage for your wedding or any event as it is was one to remember."

“Weddings are stressful, so we eloped instead! Nevertheless, we wanted to celebrate amongst family and friends to spoil them for their part in bringing this once-in-a-lifetime love into our lives. We couldn’t imagine a better way to treat our guests than with our favorite oyster and caviar bar in the city! To say that Tiff and Guy catered our party is an understatement. They developed an incredible menu that accommodated both gluten and dairy allergies while including Heritage staples like caviar, black bread, and smoked fish. The wine selection paired perfectly with the nosh, but the cocktails really stole the show; we still dream about the peanut-butter Manhattan to this day.
For dessert, a chocolate cake flecked with gold leaf and delicate pansy blossoms which was still somehow delicious after saving a slice in our freezer for a year to be enjoyed on our anniversary. Above all, the Heritage staff, with their warmth and exquisite hospitality, blended easily into our party as guests and will stay in our lives as friends for as long as they’ll have us.
We can honestly say that asking Heritage to cater our reception was the best decision we made last year, second only to the marriage itself. We continue to eat there regularly and cherish the memories Heritage helped us create.”
